The Council is excited to present the first of several insight series aimed to deliver industry roundtables and seminars to inform our members of important industry developments.

The first session will be hosted by MinterEllison on Thursday 20 June to discuss FIRB developments and Australia's Merger Law Reform Package: what the latest developments mean for Private Equity.

The Australian Government has announced an transformative overhaul of Australia’s merger control regime. We’ll provide a snapshot of changes to both process and substance that directly target PE acquisition strategies, and other implications and uncertainties arising from the reform package that influence deals by PE both now and post 1 January 2026
